  • SOURCES OF PVT DATA IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN, UTILIZED HERE, INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: http://www.gsa.state.al.us/ogb/engineering.aspx (Alabama), http://www.ercb.ca/docs/products/STs/st105.pdf (Alberta), and regulatory bodies in other Canadian provinces.

  • FOUR DATABASES EMPLOYED IN THE STUDIES DESCRIBED ARE THE PROPERTY OF PETROLEUM/GEOCHEMICAL DATA, SPECIFICALLY:

    (1) 500-CASE PVT DATABASE The database represents reservoir fluid (PVT) analyses of 413 oils and 87 gas-condensates of world-wide provenance. Data are divided into three sub-sets identified as Reservoir, Engineering, and Analytical data, linked by case number, illustrated below.

    (2) 184-CASE GAS-CONDENSATE DATABASE Organized similarly to the first 500 case set, the second database contains reservoir fluid analyses of an additional 100 gas-condensates. Principal representation is of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin.

    (3) C1-C30+ MOLE FRACTION DATA, PVT ANALYSES OF 198 OILS Variables detail provenance, mole fractions of C1 through P29, P30+, nine major light aromatics and naphthenes, P6, CO2, N2, and H2S, also API, GOR, and Saturation Pressure. Principal representation is of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin.

    (4) C1-C30+ MOLE FRACTION DATA, PVT ANALYSES OF 40 GAS-CONDENSATES Variables as in preceding database. Principal representation is of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin.
